The Data Provider returned an error [org.freedesktop.sssd.Error.DataProvider.Offline]

When the system was added to AD or whatever it used a server that is no longer present. Either add or update the ad_server line in /etc/sssd/sssd.conf with a comma separated list of AD servers.
